One of the million+ reasons Charlotte is the BEST city—so many clean and beautiful parks with lush landscape and foliage. The trees along the streets make it feel less like a concrete cube and more like home!😍 I was too enamored by CLT and didn’t take many pictures. If you’ve never been here then you’re missing out on a unique city experience for sure! This particular park has live performances, waterfalls, fountains, and ton of wide-open grassy areas. It’s a block from Uptown.

It was a pleasant experience on a bright sunny day! Lots of people but not too crowded, around the bathrooms were a little messy but other then that we loved walking around there!

Beautiful park right in the middle of Charlotte! I really enjoy walking around here while enjoying a day out with family and friends! For all those who enjoy a good city view, this is one of the best spots to see the skyline of Charlotte!

A beautiful park with lots of space in the heart of Uptown Charlotte. Next to the Truist Ballpark (where the Charlotte Knights play) Romare-Bearden Park (RBP) has an elegant, illuminated waterfall, large boulders, numerous tables and separate sections to enjoy. One of my favorite parts is the Paris Memory section that mimics the cafe-styled outdoor tables and chairs in a long row. While there is a small homeless element, I’ve never had any issues or seen anyone have trouble. It really is a nice place to relax outdoors, without having to leave the city!

Yes Latin Night in the Small park. Its Party in the Park from 6-9pm wine and beer vendors and Food trucks onsite kid and dog friendly. Uptowncharlotteparks.com
In regards to FAA laws, If you download the "b4ufly" app, you'll find that this park is still within the area of controlled airspace from the CLT airport. If you download the "Aloft" app, you can get approval to fly your drone under 400ft. With that said, it's a very small park with buildings, traffic, people and animals. Although I've seen a drone or two being flown at low levels here, they may have been breaking the law or local ordinances. Happy flying.
Yes, it's a open space you can visit it after 7pm.
It's an amazing place for fireworks. There's plenty of open clearings, both grass covered and concrete. There are several designated areas for seating as well as walls, islands, gardens, rocks, and other structures that were not created to supplement as seating zones but nevertheless work perfectly if other locations are at capacity. The security and police presence is high, and do a great job keeping the entire area safe by controlling heavy traffic zones and maintaining order during these high volume events, yet they remain leaneant enough to allow parking lots surrounding the park as well as roof top parking decks to be occupied by anyone looking for an open space to set up blankets, chairs and fold-out mats so the fireworks can be enjoyed comfortably. The center point of the park is a flat, half acre grass covered circle which provides an unobstructed view of the fireworks which are launched from the ballpark area, placing you 1500 feet from the best fireworks show in the Carolinas
Probably 9:30 supposed to off around 10 I believe
The Christmas Village that's traditionally been in the park moved this year & it's now on 7th and Tryon.
Oh, how wonderful! I love jazz! Too bad I'm in Brazil. Greetings!
It does not have public restrooms but if you're fortunate enough and there is a event going off in the you may have some porta potties
Parking is in the street & it's usually free on weekends otherwise there's parking deck & lots nearby

It's a wide open park, so yes you can. But please be mindful of other people enjoying the park. People do ride the scooters around, have picnics, do photoshoots, walk their dogs, play with their kids, throw footballs, ect. And please keep your pets leashed when out. It's the law.
Speed street has the park busy so wait until it's over and check it out.
The park is opem 24/7, Night pictures are wonderful, You will love them. I never have any problem walking in this park, I feel that is safe, even though, It is always better to put attention to your surroundings.
After a certain hour they close the park and they have security people just making sure nobody is inside the park. I don't know about any events going on. Facebook is a better place to check
Awwh ok then, I'm just looking for where the street entertainers do their art, music, dancing to entertain people and make money or not.
I believe the best way to get an answer for your question is to search google.com. Then in the search bar specify Charlotte,NC Romare Bearden park with your specific dates. Sometimes others will respond on this question area of google reviews hoping to find information. Yet this is up all year, therefore a 30 day question is difficult.

While not an official answer, for certain events at Knights Stadium they temporarily park busses between Knights Stadium and the Duke Parking deck ( may be refered also as Mint St Deck) on MLK. Knights Stadium is beside the park. Two streets that surround the Park ( Church St and 3rd St) are one way. You do need to plan your approach because of construction on W Trade street (closed). Also, on Mint St. beside Bank of America stadium is short term free parking for those that go to the Panthers Team Store. If you have a dedicated bus driver it maybe better to drop students off and then have the bus find parking elsewhere. There are metered car parking spaces on three sides of the park.
You'll have to get in touch with Mecklenburg county parks and recreation and ask what ward the park is in and ask them for all the information you're inquiring about! Good luck!
As long as you're not causing a big disturbance I don't see the big problem with it go for it
10:00 pm to 6:00 am. Curfew. Park closed from 12:00 am to 6:00 am
You could contact the central region office by phone or email (980 )314-1002 and ask People were playing dodge ball when went last week. There were no chairs that I could see.
Colder than typical weather conditions: anywhere between 19 - 29 degrees
Season change most likely. I'm sure once it's warmer it'll be back.
