Metro caring gives vouchers to cover the cost of replacing license or ID.
Graces hope has showers its on colfax
Are you male or female ?either are dependent on the facts.the basic stay is 6 months for all you get the same resources they do help more with case managers.the stay is dependent on you.the more they see you try the more they help
I recommend that shelter. It's great. It's good help.
They would love your donations. Best times for drop off would be between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Yes go you the samaritan house after 5:00 pm and tell them you needed to see about there motel vouchers Also go to Denver human services ANd apply for emergency food stamps tell them your homeless they will help you out with resources as well
I dont know if their full hut call and see. Ues they are close to the Greyhound station.
You could always try I would call first. Some places don't open the beds till 4pm ~ 430 and it's first come first serve...
I'm not sure about taking pictures. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to as you'll drop them at the donation center. And as for the time I would possibly suggest going around noon. As I believe they close at four.
Unknown if shelter is open for veterans but very small night shelter
There is a free clothing and hygiene bank called Humanity store at 2526 Welton st, only a few blocks away from Samaritan House
local Google guides do not work for the companies that we post on or about; call the Samaritan House directly and ask an employee there your question, I am sure they are happy to assist you. Good luck!
Yes u have to call the lottery I believe Monday through thursday once in u get up to 120 days to save an look for a place I stayed there 3 1/2 months was so very grateful and thankful for their help even had free health care
Ok thank you. I keep hearing bad stuff about most of the homeless shelters in Denver. Bedbugs thieves and sickness etc which is why im concerned.
Absolutely but must be kept with the owner at all times.
Also go to the St. Francis day shelter on 2323 Curtis Street early A.M. to get on a lottery. They bus you to different locations. Only for Females though.
You can have a service animal as long as you have papers. Hotel vouchers are only provided to family's or single parent w/children.
But for family's they will put you up in a motel room alot of times.right away
Samaritan House can help you. Denver has alot of resources. But as someone said 211 is a good idea too
Clothing in their donated clothing you will ve allowed so much then you have to earn for abymore.
they will help you with the bus tickets if you are part of their program as a residentπ
Yes u can just got to ask management
Yes. The transition program is most preferred. How you get on it u would have to get from them.
Families, single parents and women. Male vets may stay there not 100% sure
Due to health regulations homemade meals are unable to be accepted.

Denver Rescue mission across the street will let you stay 24h men and women plus they feed you 3x a day, showers, laundry. They have a mens more permenant 24hr shelter on 48 next to the womens with a free health clinic and dental. Salvation Army has another one but I hear its not nice.
No but you're going to have to bring them out to the Samaritan House to donate
Yes, we have children who live on the family floor. You can bring the toys and clothing to the warehouse across the parking lot from the main building from 8am to 4pm. The Samaritan House is located at 2301 Lawrence St, Denver, CO 80205. Thanks for your generosity!
You can bring donations to the Samaritan House at 2301 Lawrence Street. The warehouse is across the parking lot from the main building and it is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. Thank you for your generosity! God bless you!
Thank you guys i deff found out how many nights :)
The only thing I've ever heard of is to complete a 2 year program that has that kind of thing as a reward for completion. There are places that donate vehicles to developmentally disabled individuals, but that's a whole other process.
He might be in the shelter next door which is ran by Denver rescue mission
Use to be places if you were married, but none for couples.
Yes i believe so
Your best bet would be to call their office number that is provided, I only had an encounter with the program because it was under going restoration. I just hauled concrete out, π€·ββοΈ sorry. Although, If you need a job to help your situation, I know of two companies that are hiring as long as you have two forms of i.d. UPS as well as Blueprint skilled services will definitely take you. I know times are hard right now, I've just crawled my way out of your situation, so I know the struggle. Dont let this define you, best of luck on your journey
Only way is if they are in the program and work at night
Bo i came from Florida and that helped me and my daughter
4:30 is line up time you can there be able to stay at the holy Cross shelter or be bussed to east shelter which is a sister shelter that busses you to and from East shelter daily.your chances of staying are good.if there is an overflow situation you can be given a hotel room voucher for the night.
Sorry no I do not have that kind of information
Don't have id
Yes you can, also the Gathering Place, and St. Francis
It takes nothing besides a phone call to get in.then you have a certain amount of specified classes in a thirty day period i believe. You have a certain time to be inside. You have a daily chore and unless you have a job youre required to leave at a certain time during day .you are of course required to be sober
I'm confused
Sean I'm not sure what your question is. If you want to take part in the program you have to call in the morning and get put on the list. If your name is drawn you go for orientation asap.
I'm in need of of a transitional program I'm employed and homeless I need help plz
you'll probably have to go somewhere else cuz the Samaritan House will not allow people to come in and use the shower are used to bathroom
I recommend both Samaritan House and Beacon place. This winter I underwent emergency surgery. Bc i was homeless the put me at the Beacon Place, but was then refered by them for. Samaritan House. They both have recovery spots.
Well the first place i would go for information and resources would be Jesus saves thats on broadway and like 21st or something like that. They can direct you anywhere you need to go and the good thing about that area is pretty much anything you will need to do is within like a miles radiance.
Go to the Samaritan house after 5:00 and talk to human services they issue motel vouchers after 5:00 and if not after 9:00 if you go to the downtown detention center sheriff's office they issue vouchers after 9:00 pm
I believe they do from like 9 am -4 pm
Sorry i dont speak Spanish but if it's for your family and you are homeless. Then you would have to go to the Samaritan House after 5:00 pm Monday through Sunday to get a Motel6 voucher and if its after 9pm you can go to the Denver sheriff's office and they will also have motel vouchers
There couldn't be a better place. I stayed there for close to 3 months. Right off the streets. They provided a case worker, classes, meals and a safe place to lay my head while I was able get a job, save money and find my own place. I'm forever grateful.
Not one for a semi, small and awkward parking lot
Good luck with that. Most families don't get in.
8-9 am
Yes at Samaritan house or through the Denver pH downtown if there are any left
There is Denver Rescue Mission on Park ave west and lawrece. They give over night shelter to men. To get into Sam house you have to sign up on the daily lottery. Sometimes one gets lucky and gets picked right away but not usually. Good luck and God bless. Remember that you have to sign up every day by 9:30 am.
You have to call Monday thru Friday between 6am and 9am and ask to be placed on the list for the mens lottery. Then call back after 10am to check results. Its luck of the draw bro.
Its a big room with bunk beds on the 3rd floor
Big room with lots of bunk beds but segmented like two bunks to an office space, private locked lockers, two bins under bed for storage as well
I jave no clue I am in same exact situation. Is like to know as well if anyone finds out the answer please post, thank you
I work at a temp agency at 6 am and get off around 4pm. Would it be possible to get in during the afternoon?
Thank you for the info.
Samaritan house at 2301 Lawrence. Corner of lawrence and Broadway.
I agree with Tasha, you should call Samaritan House and get on the lottery
Yes they do.
Yes go to the denver human services on Monday and go to the he the top floor therr will be a window where you apply for like help with your electricity and ask for a motel voucher they will put you up for like 4-10 days and if you have nowhere to go now you go to the samaritan house after 5pm mon-sun and tell the dhs worker the same thing and they will voucher you in the same manner
Yes
Samaritan House DEFINITELY
Yes they do.
Well it is a woman's shelter so from 7pm to 9pm they ship the ladies out to the shelter.
Samaritan house has all of that but I would recommend a safe house for battered women they can offer a lot more help. Just call 211 and they can help you out more.
Well if you have kids and a husband they can give you a hotel voucher so you can stay in a hotel. You have to be there by 5pm for that. If it is just you and your husband then you could stay at the womens overflow and he would have to go to the Denver Rescue Mission to stay in there overflow.
Call them and they'll tell you what you have to do.
Phone lottery @ 7am call Back @ 10am to see if your picked once your in everything provided! Bed Meals Hot Showers structure!π
Probably not,the best try is go directly to Denver rescue mission but is kind of late but try!!!π
Nothing is available from the smaritian house on immediate walk in basis. Their program is lottery basis.
Please go to The Samaritan house, asapπ
Jesus Saves mission and across the street is the Samaritan house. In Aurora there is Commits shelter as well
Samaritan house is a good place to live for temporary. They have parking and food and help you with housing. It's a lottery so call every morning to get in the lotto to win a bed. Working man's Shelter is downtown and they charge $65 a week and have everything like Samaritan house. Sherman and 17th. Be there@ 4pm
You and your daughter can go to smaritan house and they will register you for placement
They do if the couple is married. If not they will sleep in segrigatied dorm rooms.
Samaratin house sometimes,helps with tickets
It's best to put it in the people hand's who really need it than to donate it because that way you know you got it to the people who really need it, other than that non-profit organization only keep the good donated self and sale what they don't keep out of greed!!!! They only give the people what they don't like but the good stuff they keep it.
