We were there for my Aunt Liz's celebration of life. My aunt and uncle had a camper spot there for years. The staff treated them as family and were very accommodating. The camp sites were nice size and well maintained. It seemed to be a tranquil and relaxing place. Thank you

Nice friendly campground. Good people, nice facilities. Kishwaukee river, great for floating, kayaks, canoes, bass, walleye, long ago I remember a 10lb carp, and many catfish.

Large, beautiful, quiet and immaculately maintained campground, catering mainly to locals who keep a seasonal vacation site. Right on the Kishwaukee River. Site was level with partial shade in the middle of the day and full shade late afternoon, which in June was a blessing. 50 amp service. Short-stay sites like ours are somewhat close together, but that's likely not going to be an issue except for a holiday weekend. Very convenient to Rockford, which is a bustling town. We only stayed one night but it was a very relaxing and enjoyable day. We'd happily stay again.

We were planning a camping weekend, & went to check out the sites beforehand. The grounds were great, the staff was very welcoming & helpful. We can't wait for our stay next weekend!!!

You can try, but not sure there is anything to catch other than frogs! But you can fish off the river bank. You can wade in and fly fish, as it's pretty shallow. People successfully catch fish there all the time.
No, I do not believe they rent out campers, but you may want to call to be sure.
