Potato Shak is a very popular small breakfast restaurant in Loves Park. Quality food for quality prices. One of my favorite places to take people from out of town. CASH ONLY!

It's an old school diner. Very very friendly service. Small plates of food. Most items are separate. So omelette plus cheese and hashbrowns goes to 11 dollars quick. I didn't like that pricing. But you can eat cheap there if you are careful.

Been quite a few years since been here. Was not impressed! I had Blueberry pancakes with berries cooked in them, which are hard to find. For the price, they were small. The wife had under cooked Swedish pancake's. The breakfast sausage tasted nasty. Also had Potatoes w/ peppers & Onions and the bill was $27 minus tip. Don't think we will be going back.
