I'm not particularly fond of the food they serve there. Your best bet would be to go to a diner or restaurant on Hempstead Turnpike or go to the food court at the nearby Mall.
The short format documentary films and planetarium shows are excellent on this full dome theater. They don't show the Hollywood IMAX movies as they are not formatted for dome theaters.
British, Canadian and American under British roundels

No
It is not a food court the way you would find one at a Mall. There is a Cafe where they sell sandwiches and a variety of foods and drinks. It is a bit expensive, as it is in most Museum cafeterias.
Yes, the Cradle of Aviation is open on Mother's Day from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m..
The Cradle of Aviation Museum is a landmark in most GPS systems and will locate correctly. There is no official street address on Charles Lindbergh that locates correctly, however, Charle Lindbergh is a one-way and you can't miss the museum, next to Nassau Community College and across from Mitchel Athletic Complex.
You can find them here: https://www.cradleofaviation.org/aerospace_honor_roll.html
