The lake is beautiful and Coulee Lodge is wonderful! It's not too big to be overly crowded so you feel like it's your place. My kids love the swim area and floating dock. We've also had some good fishing here. Yes there's wind ..duh!! Camping anywhere on water with a high rock face you're going to have wind, bugs, and/or heaven forbid maybe even too much sun. Clearly some tent campers that have stayed here before are fair weather only cry babies and should stay in the city where they're "safe". I can't wait to go back to Coulee Lodge Resort soon💓

Booked the entire weekend but won't be staying. If you are a tent camper do not go. The tent sites are ridiculously small and you practically hug your neighbor. On top of that the ground is pretty much rock. My girlfriend and I broke many tent stakes before giving up. With the wind the lack of tent stakes made it impossible to stay.

Absolutely amazing! Got there after dark set up the tent and woke up beside a lake with the most beautiful veiw! Was totally unexpected so happy we stayed here
