The lock on our door was broken when we checked in and it was only my 12-year-old son and I staying, so I wasn’t comfortable with that. Our key for the room hardly worked, you had to jam it in and out several times fast to get the door to unlock. The smoke detector battery started dying (chirping at 3:27 a.m.) and I wasn’t comfortable calling to have someone come fix it. All the surfaces were sticky, maybe there cleaning solution? But it felt disgusting. We left before they even started selling breakfast.

Booked the 2 bed suite far in advance (2 beds, sitting area, kitchen). Upon getting into the room, the setup was very strange and there was no sitting area at all (I paid $140, the most expensive room, which is supposed to have sitting area). The room smelled awful, like someone had cooked very fragrant food recently. Fridge was run down & sounded like a loud bathroom fan the entirety of the stay. The toilet seat was broken, no toilet paper except 1/4 roll, empty conditioner bottle IN the toilet, half used shampoo on counter, & shower FULL of long strands of black hair against the walls. The tv selection was great & sheets WERE clean...no issue there. Oh, & smoke detector was hanging from ceiling, looked like wires were disconnected? I'm also a Diamond member with Choice Privileges...& Received one of their worst (not as advertised) rooms they had (was there last year in king suite & that was okay).

Positive: Property looked nice from the outside and grounds were clean Negative: My family stayed in 3 rooms. All rooms had a "smell" to them. Rooms were clean. No ice buckets, no cups or glasses. Ice machine broken on our floor (not a big deal since other machines available). Shower drain plugged in one room.

I had to clean the lid of toilet when we arrived. Microwave was filthy so there was no way I would use the rest of the utilities; fridge, stove, coffee maker, or even the toaster. Eyelashes and fuzz or dirt in the sink. Scuffs in the walls. Wallpaper is peeling in every room. The beds are the equivalent to sleeping on boards. Highly disappointed and we will not come back. We could have spent less per night for the same quality elsewhere.
