Simply amazing experience at Ishnala. Have wanted to go here for years and finally just did it. Beautiful scenery as you wait for a table that was spot on at check-in. 1.5 hour wait but drinks were delicious. Food second to none. Steaks were best we have ever ate and staff so accommodating and friendly. Definitely a special treat that should be a must for everyone. So enjoyable!

Just visited for a drink. Was super busy. Outside waitress was very slow and had issues with our drink order. Do not recommend using the outdoor wait staff but rather going to the bar to order drinks. People were waiting outdoors for hours to be seated. They do not take reservations so expect to wait a long time on weekends unless you get there early. That said, this is a beautiful place to have dinner and super fun supper club type atmosphere, just go early if you are worried about the long waits.

Wow. Just stunning. It's more than restaurant, It's an experience! So amazing I can't say it enough! Worth a wait if there is one! The old fashions are delicious!! Food was incredible! The flavor in the redwine reduction on my steak was to die for! Must go!

We love to try places that promise excellent food. It's even better when service is as good as well. Ishnala Supper Club delivers both. As a appetizers, I ordered prime rib wrapped asparagus. It was enough for a meal and delicious. This is a creative dish that I've not ever seen elsewhere. Hubs had escargot which he thoroughly enjoyed. We ordered Chicken Oscar and Prime Rib with Prawns. Each dish was perfectly cooked, elegantly plated with plenty of leftovers for the next day. We finished our meal with homemade chocolate mousse, key lime pie, and a Golden Cadillac. We then took an informal tour of the supper club. The don't take reservations, but have three bars all with amazing views and a beach where diners can wait. I truly felt like I could sit there and stare at the lake for hours while enjoying great conversations with a cocktail or soda. Open year round, I can only assume how mobbed this would be in the summer. Off season visit was perfect for us.

They don't take reservations, so you will have a hard time getting in with 25. Choose another restaurant for dinner (Del Bar, etc.) where they take reservations and then come here for drinks, or your wait will be impossible.
We arrived one hour before the restaurant opened, put our name on the list waited in the bar. Had one drink and we're seated.
We do not take reservations. It is first come first serve. We recommend coming early for to limit your wait time.
Ishnala has 3 bars. Two of which have great views of Mirror Lake. The newest one is my least favorite. I would try and get a seat at the bar upstairs off of the main dining room.
Yes, it does close in the fall (October) and reopens in the late spring.
We aren't familiar with thr owners, but we felt the quantity and quality of thr food, and the impeccable service was well worth the prices.
I'm sorry but I don't work there
Yeah, it's the end of October. We went there for the last weekend last year. It's a beautiful time to go. Gorgeous sun set!
Wednesday would be best. We arrived on Thursday October 4th at 6:30pm and waited almost 45min. No complaints though, it was worth the wait. Waitress said that during the summer the wait can be 2 1/2 hours long.
No beach attire...usually a variety...kinda business casual
It is seasonal. They are closed Oct.29 till May 1st. You should go before the season ends :)
They do not have reservations. It is first come first served. They have several tables near the windows. Even if you don't you can still see in most locations. Make sure you have a cocktail or mocktail while you wait to enjoy the lakeside too. If you are there for a special event let them know. They came be very accommodating. The owner is often the first person you well see. They are currently very busy with the beautiful fall weather. Good early and enjoy.
It would be a long walk but a pretty walk
No, they don’t take reservations, but if you don’t go early, it can be a long wait. Three bars to wait at and different deck areas to view the water.
Not really, BUT they will accommodate. A group of us went last mid October and there were 12 of us. They sat us in 2 separate long tables, but parallel next to each other. They were by the windows, looking at the lake. So it wasn't so bad. Actually, it was nicer that way vs ONE LONG table. We were able to better interact with each other that way, too...
They open for cocktails at 3pm and seat about 4. If you don't mind eating too late a lunch or dinner just call it dunch or linner. Enjoy a nice old fashioned while you wait. I recommend you get one with the Ishnala brandy and one with Korbel. Do a taste test...I think the alcohol kills covid, right?
As stated above, Ishnala is closed. Del Bar has amazing food and great dessert drinks but House of Embers has private themed rooms that are very romantic and one for every taste. Make sure to reserve!
They do not accept reservations it's walk in only. So expect to wait at least and hour and a half possibly 2 to get a table. Parking can be scarce as well. Get there early and plan on waiting. They have 2 bars you can sit at and seating all around and you can walk down by the lake while you wait but trust me it is worth the wait.
Yes they are serving dine in! We went last night & it was wonderful!!
For a couple more weeks, then closed for the winter.
That's correct, we know the owners through my in-laws. They close mid October. Busy place but well worth the wait.
Last day of October.
It all depends on what you are comfortable with. Be aware that it is air conditioned so a light jacket or sweater might be needed. Especially if it is cool outside the inside will be cooler.
Thank you for the info.
Ditto
They have a wonderful bar in the back and also a large wraparound deck. We just walked in and by the time we finished our drinks we were able to be seated. It was also a weekend and extremely busy.
They open at 4 P.M. , no reservations. First come first serve, I suggest you get there early if you have a group. Great food and atmosphere.
They I am pretty sure have some ramps you can get around with
No. They close for the winter. Re-opens around Memorial Day.
They close 10/28 per their website. You can find their hours there too. http://www.ishnala.com
As long as you dont come in in your swimsuit and you have a shirt and shoes, you're good.
The main level does have seating that would be accessible but there are a lot of areas where stairs are involved. I would call first. They don't normally take reservations but maybe they will fill other seating first if they know there is a specific need.
Call the restaurant
Bar opens at 2:30 on Saturdays and Sundays - the restaurant then opens an hour later at 3:30 those same days. Every other day, the restaurant opens at 4pm with the bar open half an hour earlier.
Best damn steak i ever tasted if you dont want to wait for a seat showup when they open a 4 pm.
Bob and Doug McKenzie frim the great white north
They are closed over the winter months, otherwise open every evening. We went there on Memorial Day even. It was excellent!
Yes April 30 2018. Great place.
Would be a lovely place for New Year's eve, but unfortunately they are closed in the winter. Happy New Year!!!🍾🎊🎉
