We spent two nights here while exploring the area. Found it to be a nicely maintained campground with good amenities for the kids. Our site was pretty level with easy hookups. Service was friendly. Limited wifi and AT&T cell service spotty.

Made reservations for August 7th - 14th. Received an email from them on Sunday night the week before that pool was closed for refurbishing. I called the next day to cancel reservation, had already paid full amount owed. Was told by the girl on phone I would receive FULL refund, and it would go back on card I paid with. When I tried to explain that card is closed account had been hacked, she hung up on me. I have since then made over 200 calls to Cailin Goldey, none of which she returned and as of Sept 16th waiting still for my refund, they won't have to worry about us ever trying to stay there, or recommend to anyone. Gave them 1star only because the grounds looked clean and kept up.

If you want to camp get a spot in the way back. The RV sites up front are set up like a truck stop. Right next to highway, traffic is extremely loud. Very boring place no pool, activities or entertainment. Very run down, chipped paint, dirty patio furniture, poor landscaping, pathetic and outdated mini golf course, website mentions bikes but staff knows nothing about them. Saw lots of skunks and stray cats. K Staff is ignorant. A pair of housekeepers, a couple went out of their way to ride by my site all weekend, iterally 20-40 times a day. Starring us down, loudly swaring and passively threatening to call the cops. It was very odd. Tried to talk to manager but she was either never there or unable to pick up a phone.

The campground was nice and clean. We had a water and electric site in the Safari area. The site was level and all grass. The only downside was our neighbors. We were placed in between 2 families and they had no camping etiquette. Cutting through our site the entire time. I would go back and recommend to friends and family.

Have no idea. .best to call them.
No
It really depends on the sites. I was able to fit 2 eight person tents and 2 smaller tents on 1 site. If you're going to camp in tents stay away from site W50. It has many rocks and the ground is very uneven. Also make sure you ask for a site with electricity and water. Some of them don't have any.
Yes! One of the Best day to celebrate with friends and family!!
850,I think it will go up in March
Hello! They have beautiful cabins however you have to call them directly to make reservations.
I believe window units are in the cabins
I saw at least 2 different sized cabins there. One was fairly tiny and the other was large. Not sure of the exact number of occupants but best to call them directly. They are extremely helpful!
$8 for an hour
Bluff Point State Park, 20 minutes from KOA and we saw many people clamming.
The climbing structure has been removed and not replaced as of yet. The swings, sand digging pit and jumping pillow are all in use. The mini-golf has been redone and is very nice. I would check with them as to when work will be completed. We had a fun time and didn't miss the jungle gym at all.
Depends on where you want to go..you can Google it some beaches are 20 mins away
I see why not. Most koas are ok with it. You only have a small grassy area and tge cementvbut it should be good.
Dogs are fine at the campsites, not sure about cabins. They even have a dog park area.
I would guess and say it could be because you have to cancel withing a certain amount of time or you are charged, especially around peak times like spring break
Have you tried to book it online?
The Mystic KOA doesn't close for the winter. They are open.
Dogs are allowed but I think that it may close for winter. Very cold in Connecticut.
The *deluxe* cabins do include bedding. I stayed in a deluxe cabin in May, and all sheets & blankets were provided for the queen bed and twin bunk beds. The campground also provided towels, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel for the bathroom, as well as dishes, pans, and a small Keurig coffee maker in the kitchen. It was a great little getaway!
