Large quiet park to have the kids tire themselves out. It has plenty of things available, including a large playground and outdoor pool during the summer.

My boyfriend and I love coming here for walks! It’s a lovely park and the trails are beautiful 🌲

I went to a farmers market there

Good weekly market. About 20 to 25 vendors. Shout out to Terra nut crunch. Saw several food vendors with lunch food but market closes at noon. All in all good stop for locals.

There was.
Sorry but i don't know.
Unfortunately most of the lockers do not have keys.
Pool is open in light rain but if it rains so hard that the lifeguards can not see the bottom of the pool, then it will be closed. And will closed when Lighting is in the area.
Unfortunately the pool is currently only open to residents of Nassau. (Proof of residency is required) Under normal circumstances, it is open to public with a fee per person at the entrance.
Rink usually opens in December but it really depends on the weather. If it is too warm or sunny the ice with be too soft to skate on.
You can get one in the administration office which is location past the clock tower, around the big blue building, before the playground. It is open 10 am-3 pm 7 days a week.
No you dont have to be, but you pay a little more for non resident.
I think so since it's officially the beginning of Summer.
Next to the big pen there's a small trail that goes around the park. One part breaks off where the dogs should go and the other part goes into the playground . Although dogs are not allowed in the playground/Park area I've seen people bring them in there anyway. I don't chance it though
All the Nassau county parks are open on Memorial day
