Such a rad theatre for rpckers and metalheads, sad they're closing the venue

I had no idea that this theater was there. It was nice and I would return.

Yes small backpacks are allowed up to a certain size. I was able to bring a small bag. Their only issue is with bringing food/water in. If you need to bring anything like that make sure you apeak with security.
This theater is all of the above. Chairs are all the way at the back. The middle,an empty space but also a passage for people to move around, can be good in standing through out the show. The frontal is where people usual stand, dance or start a mosh pit.
Good crew
Coat check, snack bars and big bathrooms. Can even play video game demos in the hall. Nice place.
Depends on the show, but mostly, no. Sometimes they set up a smoking area you can go out to but you can't leave that.
Approximately two blocks up the street there's flat parking at a parking garage.
Park on 3rd ave. I would. Have fun
Go to ticketmaster and you can buy your tickets instantly
The PlayStation Theater is an events venue. It has no official closing or starting time. That is dependent on the people renting the space. Also, I thought its future was in question when its lease expired. I am not sure about that. It was the old Loew's Astor and for years was a premier venue for films with a nauseating 80's interior.
25 minute car/cab/uber, hour long walk
Anyone under 16 can enter the show but must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.
They usually do. The tables are setup right in front by the main bar area. You will have to keep in mind that cash will make any transactions happen more smoothly. Foreign bands usually have foreign card readers which some causes some banks to deny the charge.
About two hours.
Perhaps. Not that I'm suggesting you do anything illegal but if the show is 16 and older, maybe she could say she's 16. Just sayin.
My advice to you is to subscribe on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. receiving emails can become boring.
The theater is right in The middle of Times Square. There should be no problem filling some time just walking around. The entrance is on a side street. You will see where the line forms and you can wait.
Yes
LaGuardia would be the closest. And if you don't want to spend money on a cab you can take the M60 bus, which goes through the airport, to 31st street stop and transfer to the N train and take that to Times Square
Yea like any way ther theatre the wifi is There but its for the staff mostly unless you talk to one of tye staff nicely they might connect your device to their wifi
I called ahead. I brought my 8 month old, 3 and 6 year old to a Broadway show there and was told it was ok as long as there was an adult. If an adult is there, I do not see there being an issue with the 16 year old
They do have seating but I've never been there for a concert so I'm not sure how they would arrange it for their own event. I go there when Hillsongs church has services there from time to time.
No
Standing room is general submission. There are some seats higher up but first come first serve.
No seating. Standing. Starts at the front of the stage.
The theater is relatively small so there are no bad "bad areas" just be there early so you can pick your space
The Playstation is in Times Square, so there is almost literally any store you want within a 5 minute walk
Port Authority. Grey hound, Peter pan and Martz I believe
They check all bags
Not a big venue for sure, but has good viewing.
Depending on the event you might need an ID. The last concert I went to required one, it was a show that was 18+, but it really just depends on the event you go to.
Depends on the show. My event had a sign before the date at the window stating same price day of show.
It's an event space for concerts, comedy shows and sometimes private industry happenings.
The standing area is in the front. Huge space. Sitting area is in the back, like a movie theater layout. More than enough seats. Also side areas for wheelchair. I think you'll get a good view from the seats but it's not a close view. It's up to you.
Probably around 11 or 12
I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. There are raised balconies on either side of the stage that looked perfect to me, but the show I attended they were VIP only
Turns out, yes you are allowed to. But they don't allow you to use them inside. I got a call back from a theater rep, that was her answer Me and my wife had the mods with us and were given no issues about brining them in. Nassau colosseum made us put then in the car.
No . There not. Sorry About that dude.
Yes there are seats in the back as well as on the sides. Whether they are GA or not depends on the concert you go to, although the concerts I have been to were GA for the seats
Yes. There is a little food. Popcorn. And they get pizza from somewhere and sell slices. But I think that's about it
