Until a new bridge can be erected, the campground is temporarily closed after the tropical storm Fred washed the old one away in 2021. Hope to be open better than ever afterwards

It was great. We've been going there for around 3-4 years. The owner and help go way out of there way to make sure you have a great time. Took Grandchildren no tv no games on phone no Computer. 1st day was rough. But the next 2 days it was a turn around they finally got into the outdoors and they played all the time adventures in the wild and didn't want to leave. All the people talked about how they fell in love with it. And the owners made sure they did great time.

We absolutely love this campground! We have been coming here for over 10 years and have tent camped and stayed in a rustic cabin. They offer a fantastic breakfast (best blueberry pancakes) and dinner! The shower rooms are clean. They have a day room equipped with games, a TV and a vending machine for late night snacks. Gathering around the fire pit for conversation at the end of the night is a great way to end the day! A beautiful setting at the bottom of the Blueridge Parkway.

Yes, the beds are made up with sheets and a blanket. Extra blanket was on the shelf. Mattress was pretty good.
Yes
The campground closed for the 2019 season on November 1. We plan to open for the 2020 season either late March or early April depending on the Spring weather in the mountains. Look forward to seeing everyone next year.
No, there is no electricity for tent sites. There is electricity in a few cabin.
All of the cabins have an outlet except the three on the river.
Yes, they had to shut down. Bridge is out. Only 3 cabins left. The rest went down river.
The cabins don't have bathrooms but the bath house is close by. Not sure if they have a website but they are on Facebook
