As of 7/18/22 they are only allowing 50 people inside the pool at a time due to staffing shortage. Everyone else must line up at the gate to wait for people to leave. I WISH they would post this were people could see it before they drive 20 minutes to get there.

My daughter had a lot of fun, however a friendly word of advice maybe add baby changing area so mamas don’t have to change diapers on floor or ground and maybe add a curtain in changing area for mamas to breast feed or pump. I don’t want to have to tell my oldest no to pool because there is no changing area or way for me to comfortably pump/feed her sister

The park is green, serene, and beautiful, the river water is clear, the picnic areas are usually well-kept and clear of trash (occasional litter, but nonetheless clean), and the best time to enjoy the park is around 7:00pm to 8:00pm, with fewer people around.

The warm sunny spring day brought out lots of walkers, some musicians, and families playing basketball. Work has started on draining the pool after the floods. It was, as Cowboy Kent Rollins says, "a good day to be above the grass!"
