Great meal, service and there were 2 people trying to eat the 72 oz. Challenge. Plus they had a strolling guitar with singer. It was really nice to relax and have a great meal after a long day of traveling. We also stayed at the Big Texan RV Campground which we were able to get a ride to and from the campground to the Big Texan Restaurant.

Nice facilities and a friendly staff. I recommend catching the shuttle over to the Big Texan restaurant and help yourself to a big, juicy steak! We've stayed here a couple of times, and always left happy! There are nice dog walking areas and clean bathrooms.

We were greeted in a very friendly manner and immediately instructed in the right direction by a member of staff. The nice lady at the reception spoke very clearly so that we, as Germans, could understand her well Never seen one traveling under four or five feet. This one was 9. Just great! We will be back!

Awesome RV park. We stayed one night on our way out west, and one night on the way back. Office staff were very kind and helpful for both of our late check ins after long days of driving. The dogs loved the multiple dog parks. The bathrooms were spotless. We will absolutely be back on our next trip out west.

It's a huge park. We rolled in at about noon. No problem
Great rv park. K
Hi Karen. Yes, we do still have snow and ice on the secondary roads here in Amarillo and inside the RV park. There has been some nice melting today, and the major thoroughfares around the city are clear and mostly dry. We also have power. It went out for about an hour earlier in the week due to a rolling blackout in the region. Our nightly sites will not have available water hookups tonight (Friday), but we will re-open those faucets on Saturday around noon. Hope this helps. Dave Heiser, General Manager
We have a $20 dry camp option which lets you park beside our clubhouse and gives you access to laundry, pool, hot tub, sauna and showers. There are no hookups with this option, only a safe parking space plus amenities.
Good morning, Mr. Hubert. We can definitely accommodate a contactless check-in/out process for you. I found your upcoming reservation, and I will make notes to our staff accordingly. Just pull up in front of the office and have a sign (sheet of paper) in your windshield with your last name on it. Since you have already paid online, we will escort you directly to your site with no need to come in the office and nothing to sign. When you leave the next morning, there is no need to come in the office either. Just drive on out, and you're all set. Thanks for asking! -- Dave Heiser, General Manager
They might. When we travel we usually only stat a night or two. Staff is wonderful. Make sure you check out their restaurant. They will send a limo for you at the park.
Yes we are! We are open year-round. Thanks for asking!
Hi Steve. Yes, please call us or stop by the office to get the latest code. This would not be an appropriate forum to share a password of any kind, for obvious reasons. Thank you. -- Dave Heiser, General Manager
Hi Barbara! We have done rallies before, and we do host large groups from time-to-time. You can call our office at 806-373-4962 if you are interested in trying to set something up. We would be happy to help you!
Hi Toby! It's $400 for two adults, plus electricity and a $200 security deposit. The rate includes water, sewer and trash as well as wifi and cable ($50 refundable deposit for the cable box). A mailbox key for a P.O. box address here is an additional $20 deposit. Hope that helps! -- Dave Heiser, General Manager
Hi Diana! Our monthly rate (2 adults) is $400 plus electricity and a $200 security deposit. The rate includes water, sewer and trash pickup as well as wifi and cable tv ($50 refundable deposit for the cable box). Thanks for asking! -- Dave Heiser, General Manager
Hi Mark! Everyone is correct, we do welcome pets. In fact, we just added a third dog park this past winter that's over 3,000 square feet! We ask everyone to pick up after their pets of course, and they do need to be on a leash at all times (unless in the dog run). We do not allow pet pens/fences at your RV site for sanitary reasons. There's also lots of good places to walk your dog, and we supply plenty of doggie bag stations. Hope to see you soon! -- Dave Heiser, General Manager
Hi Catherine! Our rates are $39/night or $35.10 if you have Good Sam or AAA. We also offer a military rate of $33.15 for active duty personnel and veterans. These rates are for two adults (12 and over). Each additional person is $2/night. Thanks for asking, and we hope to see you soon! -- Dave Heiser, General Manager
Just call the office, that RV park is one of the best we've ever been to.
