Love Dr Goodman. He is a fantastic doctor, gentle and caring. However his move to Mount Sinai was tough. You now have to call a call center for anything. Constant issues. Incorrect prescriptions, prescriptions sent to the wrong pharmacy, and no-responses to requests from my online pharmacy. Such a pity

Dr Goodman diagnosed me almost 6 years ago . I had severe aortic stenosis which meant I needed a cardiologist. I then had to have open heart surgery. I chose a surgeon that Goodman did not approve.. Goodman then did a routine physical. ,which included a bone density test which showed osteoporosis, He neglected to include this in my report. I only found this out within the last few months. I have been suffering with sternal pain. I healed from the heart surgery but have had chronic sternal pain for years.. I believe had the surgeon known I had the bone issue they would have protected this area. Dr..Goodman never believed I had pain. Eventually I left Dr.Goodman..I can't speak to him now since he moved his practice to Mt Sinai but if I could I would ask..How the hell can you justify leaving this info out of my medical records? Your patients coudnt locate you when you left private practice.WOW! BTW..1 STAR FOR FINDING THE PROBLEM..but Dr Goodman left Vital info out of my report..causing me years of avoidable $ spent, anxiety and suffering.

I can't get ahold of the office, and there is no return call from the messages, email, and answering service requests.
We’ve had the same problem. This issue began recently, when he moved from the private office he’d maintained for many years, employing his own staff, to a group office under the Mt. Sinai health care system, where the doctors share a common staff who are hired by Mt. Sinai, not the doctors. The deficient communication is *not* Dr. Goodman’s fault; my wife & I have been patients for 20+ years & until now have never had difficulty reaching him. Complaints should really be directed to the office manager at the 234 Central Park West office, who is, of course, unreachable. I’m trying to find a phone number or email for the Mt. Sinai administrative office or company executives, but the web site lists only numbers for hospitality & schools. If I have to, I’ll start with calling them — it’ll probably take a day on the phone being bounced around. If I come up with a way to contact the management, I’ll post it here.
