Although I am not a patient of Dr. Cooke's--at least not yet--I am greatly impressed by her team! In the last two weeks, Carolina, one of her assistants spoke with me three times, spending, in all, an extraordinary two hours explaining Dr. Cooke's practice, answering every question, and even brainstorming with me about a particular issue! I cannot imagine a doctor's office--even a functional medicine one-- providing more helpful, detailed support. Unfortunately, despite fees that I know are fair for a NYC physician of Dr. Cooke's caliber, I'm unsure if I could afford to see Dr. Cooke. However, Carolina's excellent help tells me that Dr. Cooke's care must be outstanding.

I am a business associate of Dr. Cooke. Observing her for many years now I know that she is not only a very educated and knowledgeable professional but that she is also kind and thoughtful. Her work with Lyme disease patients is phenomenal. She also excels in the treatment of thyroid disease, gut leak syndrome, post viral syndrome, and fertility, to only mention a few. I highly recommend Dr. Cooke as an alternative, integrative, holistic physician.

Unfortunately, I cannot accept insurance. The current insurance structure does not allow for adequate time spent with the patient for a comprehensive assessment. We do, however, provide encounter forms for those who have out-of-network benefits and wish to submit for reimbursement to their insurance.
Yes, this testing is done through Genova Diagnostics lab, the Intestinal Permeability Assay. The Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis may be appropriate in conjunction.
