Sometimes I take a train or get off here, but I usually like to railfan here. It's a safe station to railfan on these side platforms! So many chinese people using the trains here! I'm also glad it's renovated, it's useful a lot! Edit : A crazy man came up the platform and went mental! So railfanners and riders, be careful on each platform that you are standing on. They may push you down or do other crazy stuff. Stay safe! Another update : I made a Complaint to MTA about that man (He is found out to be Latino) and the MTA will investigate this incident and will be referred to NYPD later and the suspect will be wanted for assault.

Crazy busy with cars busses, street vendors pedestrian traffic. Back to pre pandemic levels. Absolutely insane

There are 2 municipal parking in flushing, have to pay by the hour. Otherwise is very hard to find parking.
Long island rail road does not go to Grand Central. If you want to head to Grand Central, take the 7 train from Flushing-Main Street station on Roosevelt avenue (about 2 blocks away)
