Shocked how unkempt and dirty it was and sad to see how downhill it has gone. Weeds, dirty, overgrown ponds. Don’t know if they don’t have enough help but it is a shame how far this place has fallen. The seasonal area looks like a place campers go to die. So many abandoned filthy campers. We used to love coming here but will not be coming back. Hoping the city of Dearborn steps up.

Wish I had seen a post regarding the mattresses before we went this past weekend. I would have canceled My daughter, her husband and two kids 4 and 2 arrived to the resort cabin after a drive from Ohio to find they would be sleeping on plywood. A dirty cabin with a concrete floor and nothing to sleep on. Needless to say they went to a hotel. When talking to the staff they played a great game of pass the buck and we have still not received a call from Scott which was supposedly who the buck stopped with. They were rude and insinuated we were lying about the cleanliness but there was no way to lie about nothing to sleep on. An employee showed us where they had marked it on a brochure but there was no mention about the mattresses being removed on the paperwork I signed. I didn’t realize it was necessary to look at every page of the website. They took the time to say no pets on the contract. You’d think they’d let you know there was no place to sleep. I will be posting a poor review everywhere I can find a place to put it and disputing the charges for the misrepresented unused cabin on my credit card.

I must say how much my family and I have enjoyed staying here. It was so relaxing! I've camped many times before and they have the largest sites by far. The lake is clean and sandy. They have so many different play grounds for the kids. Im also so happy the women who made our reservations asked me about my family and told me she would put us near the playground for our little ones. They have a wash station for dishes and the bathroom s were clean. There was little to no traffic on our road and we felt safe letting our kids run around. The dumpsters are large and very conveniently located. Fishing is allowed and I was able to see a young boy catch a huge fish while my boys were swimming. The only complaint I would have is they only have one washer and dryer site which was located a good distance from our site but they worked well and we're done fast. We will be back for another stay for sure!

It seems like they may be going out of business or can't hire any help to run things. A lot of things are not open like the pool and canteen etc.. and there are blocked roads and weeds growing up through common areas, not as many outhouses throughout the rustic cabin side so you either climb a steep hill in the dark or you drive all the way up to the main entrance in the night. Not handicap friendly at all you cannot park near the cabins. You're either climbing a step hill or going down one to get back and forth to your vehicle. The bathrooms) shower area were clean and smelled of bleach so that was a plus and it was very peaceful even though they said they were at 75% capacity.

Yes you can leave your pets in your RV we are here now and we leave them to go around town. I think they mean not to leave them for a long time which most people don't
There are different classes of cabins- resort and rustic. Prices vary by season. You have to click through a bit, but it is listed on the website.
They don't update availability on the website. Call them
It wasn't too bad when I was there during Memorial Day, but people can do a better job of helping out when their in there using the facilities. Just a simple jester of flushing the toilet would be a start....
Hi, Angela. Yes, we do provide that option. A day pass for Camp Dearborn is $9.
Yes, you can choose a spot with electric access or a spot with no electric access.
No. As far as I know, you can only raft. And if you do, you must wear a life jacket.
All the pricing is on the website
I saw dogs everywhere, so I would assume it would be ok.
Yes you can. Its $20 a night for rustic camp sites and more for electric hookup sites or $320 a week to rent 1 of their green tent sites. I just got home yesterday. 7-11-21
Yes it is. Nice too, was there for Memorial Day weekend.
Unfortunately they don't.

Yes, there is a pool for campers and people in Tent Village. So day visitors cannot use it. Its heated, however not very warm. They frequently add water which cools it.
Yes. Have to get there right when they stock to get the trout.
Yes, there are still designated areas for trailers and campers with water and electricity hook ups.
They have paddle boat for campers for free, part of camping package
No.
No. Each campsite comes with six wristbands that allow you access to the pool. Guests of campers can use one of the wristbands.
Water is clean, pool is for campers use only. Not sure of the demensions though.
You can go for the day but you wont have access to tent village. You use to be able to rent the paddle boats but I don't remember the cost I want to say its $2.00 a person. Zip line opens this week you can look up the cost for that. And to get into the park you pay by the car not the person. Miniature golf is like $3.00 a person
They rent Kayaks right near camp, I'm not sure if they are a part of the camp or not; but it's like 5 mins from camp . They do not rent out poles.
You need to look on the web site, there are several themes listed for that time frame.
Only by the office and the canteen, office has better service in the parking lot
No it closes around September and open sometime in the spring
