Tiny, but there's definitely more than meets the eye when you walk in. Came here to see a show and had no clue what to expect. Absolutely phenomenal experience though. Has a rooftop bar/smoking lounge where you can get a breath of fresh air. I will be back here, even if I'm not seeing a show. Lots of stairs!

I think so. But you should probably contact them directly
The crowd fits the show. I wouldn't worry.
Both stops (U St/Cardoza & Howard) are about the same. We always tell people to use the U St and exit out of the 10th St exit. Cheers
It depends on the event. If it doesn’t list an age, it means ALL AGES SHOW.
It is dependent. Now that it is warmer. We do not plan to have a coat check till the winter time. There will not be one for Sleaze. You might be able to get a bartender to keep it behind their bar for you. I would first try the roof.
The rooftop is open for dining. See dc9.club for details.
Hi Laniya, it depends on the event. Most live shows are "all ages". Most dance parties are 21+. If we don't have an event going on then it is 21+. We post any age restriction on our calendar page of each show/event. Just go to dc9.club to see if there is a restriction.
There is one just across from the 9:30 Club at 816 V St NW. Be warned that some nights it’s not open. Another lot is right around the corner from DC9 at 910 U St NW. Street parking is also good. Pay attention to meter times or neighbor parking signs for what side of the street to park on.
To just hang out at the bar is 21+. Concerts and dance parties have their own specific age restrictions. Most events seem to be 18+, but if there is a show you really want to see as a 16-year old parental accompaniment might be permitted. Best to have your parents call and ask. Clubs in DC are asked to abide by curfew laws, meaning many teenagers can't legally be there after a certain hour without a guardian.
