Service is awful. Waited 2 hours for our food. Didn’t have anything on the menu. Server didn’t even know we didn’t receive our food yet. Server was also rude. Tyrone Wells was awesome though, but honestly will never go to City Winery again for a show.

Love the artists they book. Food service was terrible tonight. Waited 1 hour 20 minutes for our food, and several other tables were complaining of the same. When our food finally did come out, a portion of it was cold and was never replaced. Wish we could have our $100 spent on food/wine back.

This was my first time visiting any City Winery venue. Nice cozy date atmosphere!
Jess !
We reserved a two person hightop near the bar (there were only two of us and we didn't want to share a table since the pandemic is still a thing). I wasn't sure what to expect, but there wasn't a ton of bar traffic to bother us and we had a great view and breathing room. We weren't too far back at all. I was really happy with our spot. The drinks we got were STRONG but good. As soon as we went to order food, the kitchen "turned the food off" to catch up with orders. We had planned to eat before the show and sip our drinks while watching but ended up having to wait until well into the show to order, which was a little annoying. I totally understand why they did it, but I think I'd rather have ordered and then waited ages (though that's just me). Also, we'd looked at the menu online before going only to find out the menu was different when we actually got there. We were super looking forward to a s'mores dessert but instead they had a strawberry one, so just keep an eye out for that! That being said, our server was great and let us know the second food came back up (this would have been a 4 star review if service hadn't been absolutely perfect, and honestly everyone working looked like they were having fun, which was awesome and a great atmosphere). And once we did get the food, it was pretty good. We tried a seasonal salad, the parmesan fries, and the chocolate dessert mousse. Everything was fresh and delicious and the concert ended up being just a super chill and enjoyable experience. I'd totally go back for another concert and do the hightop table again, we had a great night and a lot of fun (once I wasn't hangry anymore).

Doesnt matter which day. Just be sure the Nationals or DC United dont have a home game. Traffic will be a nightmare.
Should be but call to confirm!
Actual reserved seating. Edit: For the Main stage. They also have a loft upstairs which is general seating.
If tickets are still available (i.e. the show has not sold out), you may purchase online or at our concierge desk the day of the show.
Yes, The Moth radio hour has two upcoming events. The Moth allows you to share your story relevant to the topic presented.
Yes! We offer valet during all hours of operation, $12 per car. You may also park at a secure parking garage about a block and a half away above MOM's organic market. The first 90 minutes are free and the maximum charge per day is $8.
Hi! We do not have any age restrictions unless otherwise noted on our website for specific shows. 14 year olds are welcome!
Comfortable casual. I was sexy casual because of the show I went to. But I saw all kinds of attire.
Yes,they do have evlovators. I did see wheel chairs in the building...which looked like they had the space. Cover charge? Depends on the band that is playing.
Hello, City Winery no longer requires proof of vaccination to attend out events.
There's an elevator inside but I'm not sure if there is a ramp out outside. I never paid attention before buy I will in the future. I'm sure you can call and ask.
Doors open 2 hours prior to the show.
Our Restaurant has yet to reopen but will be coming soon.
Yes, they have elevators. The tasting room is large and many seniors come just for this.
Hi Marquetta, thank you for joining us for dinner on January 12th in our Barrel Room Restaurant & Wine Bar. To purchase tickets to a show in our concert venue where dinner service is available from the time doors open until the end of the show, please reference our ticket page on our website at www.citywinery.com/washingtondc. Should you choose to dine in our concert venue instead, you would not need a reservation in our restaurant.
Ticket prices vary. Always check their website to view upcoming events, make reservations, view their delectable menu, and purchase tickets. Their site is user friendly. To view seats, use a PC, it's hard to see on mobile.
They have tables. Reservations are also accepted. When you purchase your ticket, a reservation is included. Check their website here https://citywinery.com/washingtondc/?SID=6pgdvm6lij8dcfqohlhhokl9j3
In addition to street parking and valet parking, there is also a secure parking garage on the same block as MOM's organic market where you can park for 90 minutes free, then up to $8 for the full day.
There's a big dance floor!
Full bar! We hope to see you soon.
Probably, you can finish eating during the show. If you want to finish eating before the show, give yourself at least an hour.
I arrived about 45 minutes before show started. I was in line for a bit and then enjoyed the venue.
Seats are reserved so if there are no seats together it could be tough.
Im not sure if they have one set in stone- but you cant go wrong with smart/ casual. You can definetely get away with jeans & a t-shirt
You can park nearby and pay a homeless man to watch your car or use their valet. I've done both on the few occasions I've gone to City Winery.
Unfortunately I can't help you with that. The show I did attend did start pretty much on time. Use the valet parking unless you are willing to risk it. The area is improving but has a way to go.
"Nearby" "close proximity" c'mon those words are not specific Is the garage one block, 2block???

One of the best seats in the house and they are limited in number sold. VIP option is better choice of seating.
