Went to a middle eastern festival here, which was packed with a lot of people and a lot of food. The prices were reasonable, which surprised me. Was it amazing food? No, but it was okay. Our main complaint was that they gave us the chicken shawarma pita sandwiches cold which is not the way it's supposed to be eaten, especially if you wanted to taste good.

I attended the church's food fair yesterday & really enjoyed myself! I got a beautiful henna tattoo done, purchased some great items & attended their church tour. As a Black woman completely unfamiliar w/ the church itself and their traditions, it was really nice to learn about it and the culture. As I was leaving there were church officials thanking people for coming, which I thought was very nice & kind. The official who chatted with me as I left invited me to come back which was also very nice. Thank you for such a nice event and for being so welcoming.

A beautiful church. I have attended a few times throughout the years, and the liturgy is spectacular. The people are very welcoming to visitors. The iconostasis is beautiful. I wish I could live closer.
