Already 4 months living here, and we are extremely happy. The staff is amazing, having CVS and Giant at a walking distance really makes it convenient. Whenever we have needed to do maintenance or similar, the administration has been responsive and all gets fixed in 48 hours or less. I'll keep updating my comment but I can say this is a really nice place to live.

Great community, the staff is amazing. Quick responses, they treat you like family. The property manager was professional very knowledgeable when it came to any issues. I would recommend penrose to Obama if the brother was looking for a place to stay!

Yes, however if you take an apartment on the second floor you can pay a deposit (one month market rent) to have the carpet removed and plank wood flooring installed. The townhomes are the same however, the bedrooms in our flats and townhomes will remain carpeted.
No, your water/sewage is paid through the property and the electric is paid through Dominion Power.
Yes, all our apartment homes have washer and dryers.
Our garage parking is $60 (for open parking) and $75 (for reserved parking) per vehicle/per month.
There are buses at your front door, we also have a shuttle bus service which takes you to Pentagon City metro. The Pentagon is five minutes driving or you can bike there as well.
