This it’s crazy. I came 3 times to verify my identity and still nothing. I have 3 month baby I’m not able to file a claim for Unamploymant bicouse no body from you do his job to verify my identity witch it’s take 5 mins . I didn’t pay my rent for 2 month and I don’t have food to feet my baby . I don’t know how many times more do I need to come to verify me. This it’s unacceptable.

I dont understand how they hire people that give off attitude and are unprofessional. They are not helpful and dont have the patience to help people. Just because they have a position they think they can treat people any way they want. And that they are Gods give to the world. Regardless what ever is written here will not be taken into consideration. SAD SAD SAD SAD. You talk to them with respect and they respond with disrespect. Come on people do something.

It's actually impossible to reach anyone in any of the offices and also main unemployment line too. I filed for unemployment 3,5 months ago neither I received money from them neither I can reach anyone. I have been calling everywhere, emailing everywhere, trying to chat with no success.
I got in thru chat line it took 3 days but l got its over the computer on the Personal jobs page you are taken too when you sigh in

Same here, after 41 years working and first unemployment application October 2020 and they said had issues! Haha. They didn't have to pay millions to scammers. Tried to find the reason in person, by phone. Not luck at all.

Same thing happened to me!! Everyone who got pua last year was supposed to get an extended 10 weeks I did not get the extension I was denied because they said I did not work at all last year when in fact I worked from January 3rd all the way to the beginning of July all through covid delivering food to people that didn't want to come out of the house!! I've been trying to get my money now since the beginning of January they gave me my first two weeks in January and then told me to keep filing which I have been and still sends me emails every Sunday telling me to file but won't release any money to me I finally talked to a young man he claimed my last two weeks for me I did file last week but it never went through so something was wrong with the system but he also told me people that haven't received anything yet could possibly be getting released funds within the next two weeks so I'm praying that this is true. I'm not working full-time as I worked in the restaurant business.

You can go to the office but I think they can only guide you how to do over the phone, wait time is long and if you bring children you will have to wait outside until someone is available to assist in the lobby area. No children allowed inside the office.
Well there only open for people who are job searching,I walked in and they allowed me to file for unemployment benefits. So they are quite with full service you can walk in.

They give you a pin in the mail, I was struggling with this for almost a whole month. Finally spoke to a human being. I received a pin NOW something is Outstanding and I don't know what it is none will pick up or contact me back as a veteran this is all so very disappointing and sad. Reading others reviews I have family in NY and even Maryland who have had not ONE ISSUE with their unemployed but here in Virginia this is very embarrassing.
Call the number that was included with your appeal notice. Let them know that you were not contacted at the stated time. They will instruct you from there
