Horrible experience. Super careless.

Consider removing the wait times from the website. The wait time said 29 minutes, and we’ve been here for almost 3 hours. ONE person has been called for a room….. Not one ounce of exaggeration included. VA is catching up to DC and Maryland with the wait times during emergencies. Also consider Fast Trac

I have c diff (which means I need to be on contact isolation) and they put me in a semi private room with another patient. What’s even more messed up is that they put me in a room with a patient who has dementia which means this poor old lady does not know what’s going on or even knows that she’s in a room with someone who has c diff, let alone, can’t voice her concerns. What’s even more funnier is that everyone (nurses, techs, doctor) gowned up in the ED because of my c diff diagnosis but all of a sudden, I get admitted on the floor, I’m “cleared” and allowed to be in a semi private room with another patient.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST! My sibling has diminished vision and the “nursing staff” on 4c has been ignoring her constantly! She has been waiting over 2 HOURS in a soiled adult undergarment! Every time I call the hospital the wait to get an operator is very long and then when I’m transferred again NO ONE on 4c answers. I had to get the main operator to make contact with them for me. My heart breaks for my sister!!
