I don’t think people understand that if you are waiting in the ER that means you aren’t dying and others are. My husband was taken through the ER in critical condition with fluid around his heart and was seen right away and had his heart sac fluid drained within two hours and they saved his life.

One of the worst ER I have visited in Maryland, besides to Laurel Hospital. The staff is unfriendly, they work like is a public service. My husband had hand injury and the nurses said that they can’t do it nothing. They are so rude and unprofessional. Been here is a nightmare. Please do not visit this hospital and Laurel either.

This is one of the worst hospitals in Baltimore city and they killed my aunt 3 years ago in their emergency room and now they are having me wait in there emergency department once again and they have rude triage nurses and other hospital staff in the whole emergency department and I hope this hospital has good lawyers because if they let me suffer any more I will not hesitate to sue them for medical negotiations and the news crews will definitely hear this I hate ummc emergency room and I already cut my doctors with them this broke the mold for me and if they don't have anything to say but contact patient advicite services then talk to my lawyer also there patent advocacy or whatever there called are not helpful at all and I also would like to say that if all avenues for making a complaint fails I would suggest to get a lawyer involved for medical malpractice

I took my boyfriend here because he had a head injury and the staff were very kind and made sure he was seen not even 10 minutes after checking him in. He was bleeding a lot and we were anxious but the doctor was calm & nice but also had a sense of humor that helped relieve the anxiety. Really appreciate the team who helped us, including the very sweet medical students who observed as well.
