My grandmother went to the funeral of a dear friend last week and was horrified to hear the pastor make a negative comment about Jewish funereal practice during the service, completely out of the blue. She and my grandfather were the only Jewish people at the service. After the funeral, she asked him why he’d said such a hurtful and incorrect thing about Jewish people (apparently we “dump our dead”) and instead of apologizing he doubled down and called her a bad Jew, insisting he knew more about our practices than she did. She has been in touch with the archdiocese about this and he’s been helpful, which is the only reason this review isn’t getting one star.

Boys basketball game. My Grandson is on the visiting team. Both teams were well coached in the game of basketball and in being good sports. The boys played an exciting game. It was well worth the drive from Harford County Maryland to watch it. Thanks to all the coaches and staff for presenting this effort.
