I would say anyone who’s experienced difficulties receiving their benefits should contact the District Local Virginia Senator’s Office. In 2021 I filed my claim and the representative entered my PII incorrectly into their database. When I went to file my weekly claim that’s when I was aware of the mistake one of their representatives did on their part. I was instructed to mail copies of my identification to their Richmond office in which I did and no one corrected the request. In 2022, I discovered the issue wasn’t resolved and faxed them copies of my personal identification information again. Seven months later the issue wasn’t corrected which led me in contacting my district state Senator and finally a year later the issue was resolved. If you’re experiencing issues, Google your local district state Senator and contact their office to assist you. It’s a shame that a state agency doesn’t pay attention to simple detail and pay attention. Hopefully this agency will train their employees and temporary workers correctly.

ZERO STARS!!! VEC is the worst organization ever. Its been 4 months and I still haven't received a decision regarding my claim. Everytime I call the VEC office, I’m on hold for hours no matter what time of the day. When I finally get someone on the phone, they tell me my case is awaiting for several fact findings to be completed on my end. Then they immediately realize, I’ve already completed all my fact findings months back. Only for them to state “the deputy is waiting to review your claim, and we don’t have a timeframe when the case will be reviewed by the deputy”. It’s like their reading from a script. I emailed, requested supervisor several times. No response. My account has been saying outstanding issue for four months. I have done everything they asked me to do and I still haven't received any payments. Im beyond frustrated and disappointed in this service. No use of complaining, there is NO ONE available to listen. I’ve contacted the commissioner only for them to refer me back to the useless customer service team. COMPLETELY WORTHLESS and waste of time.

You have to email them...
Same here since April and its September now and still nothing
I'm having the same issue, they've sent my monetary eligibility letter, but not my pin #, & I can't file weekly claim without the pin #
Hi. Same for me .
What is your email I have been trying since February to reach someone. I've received nothing. And now auto. Says I'm now not in system WHAT???
I'm going thru the same thing smh
You have to go in the gov2go app and enroll for the LWA
Either online or there is a phone number. Unfortunately I had no luck with the phone, you can only call and leave a voicemail. No one got back to me.
My pin I've been using since the beginning is now not working. I cannot get hold of a live person, the live chat, or by email. What are you supposed to do? Does anyone know the local office address that is open for Loudoun County? I see Woodbridge is open tomorrow morning.
Good question they are not opened. Went over there security said employees are working inside but its is not open 2 the public
Good luck! I'm still waiting to get unemployment for 4 of the 6 months I was unemployed.
I'm not getting payment either been weeks since trying to get hold off
I was missing my 1099 G ... This office is closed But if you make a appointment I'm sure they will help you...
Don't know I emailed them over a week ago no response
I have been waiting four months for a pin; its impossible to get a hold of anyone about it! Trust I have tried....two weeks...good luck; reply if you get yours please.
Possible Alexandria, Va
They mail it to you at your mailing address that you listed during your application
If you filled out the paperwork concerning your wages, such as a W-4 & W-2 in the stated of MD than that's what state you file. That state retains a copy of your wages.
By phone.
Sure an appointment will be better I just wrote a letter to the effect
I need job
You cant have to have PIN number..
Appointments are recommended, but walk in service is there as well. If the person you are needing to see isn't available, you may have to come back another day, but they will at least take all the information they need to get you into the system so when you return your time will be for exactly what you need.
I should apply /only can apply from Maryland
