A large fishing pier with benches on the Chesapeake Bay a few miles away from The Maryland Bay Bridge on the Easter shore. Shallow water 1-2 feet at low tides. We came here 5 times and there were no fish to be caught. During our visits, we were able to spot a cruise ship passed by in the early morning heading to Baltimore Harbor. Lots of container ship cruise by every day. The bay views and bridge are very beautiful at sun set. Boat launch area is very clean. Easy access. Picnic areas have cooking grills / benches, and shades. Expensive Paid parking area by hourly. I would not recommend to fish in this area. Dirty / smell toilet house.

Nice for fishing. All the community residents invade the place in the evening. Not very pleasant when your space in encroached upon. But I liked the place nonetheless.

Best beach experience ever. The water is shallow and warm. There's parking and it's free!!

Nice fishing pier. I only caught a few fish but others were catching plenty. Pay to park, $2.50 per hour via the meter. 24 hour access for the fishing pier. Amenities available, although the bathroom is not very clean but they do have a bathroom... If Matapeake isn't producing, try Romancoke down the road.

Yes there is a picnic area where you can cook or grill.
No...close at dusk
5 minutes
It is not that far.
You can do some easy hikes but there are other trails that are better on the island
No.
Not on the main property. There's a separate trail to a beach north of the main one for dogs
Yes.
There is a small parking lot then a good 5 minute walk to the beach. If you have a dog you have walk on a trail just outside the fence that takes you to the dog end of the beach.
No. The park closes at sunset and there was a sign reading stay away from the rocks.
Yes, there are a lot
Yes.
Absolutely. We swam with our dog all afternoon. Sandy bottom and clear water. Enjoy!
The water is pretty shallow for a good distance so would be good for younger kids. Sandy too, not rocky.
