I hate to leave this review for a local KI restaurant, but unfortunately our server was absolutely terrible this morning for breakfast (also what appeared to be the only server in the restaurant), and I’m guessing hungover, based on his demeanor, He barley said a word to us which was awkward. My husband ordered a coffee, which when he brought it to the table, he spilt coffee on the table and menu, didn’t even look up to acknowledge his mistake and didn’t come back to clean it up, or offer napkins. The coffee was almost transparent it was so watered down, at the same time we saw another elderly gentlemen push his coffee to the side get up, go directly to this server and said “I’m not paying for that coffee, it was half water.” And then left the restaurant, to which the server said nothing and just looked at the old man. At this point We decided to leave, my husband said “we are just gonna pay for the drinks and head out” and we did not touch our orange juice or coffee, to which the server shrugged his shoulders and said “ok” and walked away without saying anything or asking if anything was wrong. As Kent Island locals, we like to eat and support local business but this experience left us disappointed, and had us going to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I don’t leave reviews like this lightly, as I used to serve and can appreciate people having bad days, but I felt like this experience would deter others from wanting to return to Ramshead, and should be brought to the attention of a manager, or owner.

Food at reasonable prices. Huge portions. But they need to change their limited menu. Also someone needs to show them what a margarita glass looks like. They served my margarita in a tumbler! They are upgrading the furniture but in the meantime the tables don't fit the booths and are TIGHT. The longtime manager recently left and it shows.

Had an early dinner and enjoyed the lobster dinner special. Copperhead Ale is a great beer and I highly recommend it. Service was awesome. We will be back for sure.
