Is this good for young children? My 4 and 6 years old never go to the beach, yet? (But I don’t want to have a long drive.) they are curious about the beach. :)

The water is pretty shallow for a good distance so would be good for younger kids. Sandy too, not rocky.

Yeah its fine for kids. Nothing hazardous and the beach is small, easy to keep them in eyesight.
