We called to get my Father in for a visit and were told we could just walk in without an appointment. That was not the case. When we got there the place was dead and they had a kiosk you had to sign into to get an appointment. Nobody helped us and the lady in the office that saw us peeked out and then closed her door. Why stay open til 7:30 if you're not going to be taking patients who were told could have a walk in visit? CVS strikes again.

My family and I have used this location multiple times and have always had compassionate care. When we had an appointment the wait was usually short. The provider is usually a Nurse Practitioner, so what they are allowed to prescribe is limited, but we have never been disappointed with the service. It is worth it to be able to be seen and get answers about simple health issues at odd hours or on the weekend.

The insurance they take varies from store to store. In one, they might take Medicade for example, but not in one a city away.
You walk in and sign in for an appointment using their system and then wait in line. Depending on how many people are in front of you, the time it will take to get in will vary. You don't have to sit there for 2 hours waiting, but can leave the store and come back later for your appointment. In the sign in process, there's an option to get a text 30 minutes before you should be called in so you don't miss it.
According to a quick Google search : MinuteClinic® providers are trained to provide cholesterol screening and analyze the results. They will review your medical history and lifestyle factors. Following the screening, your MinuteClinic provider will discuss the results with you and refer you for further testing and diagnosis if needed.
Not to sure about specialized medical its basically a stop by doc for when you have flu allergies, strep throat etc. You dont have to take your shot records just know what you have had and time limit.. hope this helped
The cost depends on what ailment you have. There's a base price of 150$ for the appointment, and that includes a physical (depending on your symptoms) and any lab tests like a strep test. I went in for upper respiratory infection and the cost for all of it was around 250$. I had the strep test as a precaution and a mild physical; my blood pressure taken, ears, nose and throat looked at and my breathing was also listened to. I was prescribed 3 medications for my symptoms, which at the time were getting worse. I would recommend you go here for minor ailments if you don't have insurance because overall everything was significantly cheaper than a primary care doctor or the ER.
I'm personally not sure, but more than likely yes. If the infection is severe, they might direct you to an emergency clinic.
