This sort of bus is much needed for people who can't drive. Or what ever reason. It gets you all around St. AUG. ONCE YOU FIGURE out the color code. Just wished more frequent stops.

Bus service in St Augustine is fine as long as you're a tourist or an elderly person with nothing going on all day. If you have a job or other places to be in a reliable and timely manner this system will disappoint you. They don't even run on Sundays and close for almost every holiday, even the one's where nobody else does like Independence day. The buses only run every two hours, start relatively late in the morning and end early in the evening, and the price is two bucks for a one way trip, which is fine if you're here for a day or only go out once a week but if you depend on the bus every day is expensive for what you get. Not to be completely down on Sunshine Bus, the drivers are generally good natured and helpful people and the buses, which are actually just passenger vans, have good AC and comfy seats, and being small encourage passenger interactions which leads to camaraderie and conversations and a nice sense of community among daily riders.

Well, it turned out to be a confusing back + forth conversation about the buses apparently new road map points. The lady who answered the call was nicely professional; even called back to include other ideas + instructions. Then again, I first called because the instructions + mapping zones were confusing. I would've liked an actual physical map + a more acurate timing exchange btwn.bus routes. 🙃🙂🤔😕☹️😏😐. Have a good + safe 4th of July! 😀
