I'm feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed with the imaging facility/billing department. I had some imaging testing done back in May and was charged a $200 copay by the front desk. I had a great experience with the techs and appointment in general but later on I received my EOB from my insurance and I'm glad I reviewed it because the facility overcharged me by a great amount for what I was actually responsible to pay for my exams. That was back in May and I'm STILL trying to get my refund (they keep giving me the runaround). I just cant imagine how often this happens and innocent patients have no clue that they were overcharged so I want to make everyone aware that they obviously do not check your benefits and how much you should actually be paying so make sure you always check the claims/EOB that your insurance plan mails to you to be sure you weren't overcharged because I'm sure if I didn't catch it they weren't going to automatically give me a refund. Honestly I think this is so wrong and I hope they start to properly verify benefits to avoid overcharging patients.

I know this message will not post since it's rigged however I know management will read this. I saw an AdvenHealth PCP who ordered my mammo through Epic. I arrived and the receptionist Montaria was extremely rude. First she said she could not locate orders in Epic and told me I would be self pay. I refused. Then, she asked a coworker to check powerchart which they couldn't locate. I called PCP who located orders in Epic. Orders were faxed. PCP stated this is an ongoing issue. I should not have to be inconvenienced due to IT issues with your new EMR system and Montaria should of been more helpful. She was more concerned of finishing her shift then resolving the issue. The female who covered her was more helpful. Because I'm admin in healthcare I pushed through knowing this could of been resolved and I know others would of left. Your front desk needs retraining.

Horrible experience. Arrive to my appointment 15 min early as requested. I check in and wait to be called back. After an hour and 15 min they call me to the desk and tell me my appt was scheduled for pm not am and I would have to reschedule my appt. Absolutely ridiculous, after driving 30 min out of my way to this location for the appt. Would have been nice if they had told me prior to sitting there for over an hour. Horrible!!

1. Simply ask the provider for a CD of the procedure and 2. Ask for a copy of the written report when it's been read by your physician. That way, if you seek another opinion, you'll have both CD and full report of their findings to take to another doctor, if necessary. Good luck!
