Has a pavilion, playground, swing set, a small pier which overlooks the water, and a trail which runs around the entire quarry. Definitely a great place to take the dogs for a walk or a jog around the trail.

@Draconis Maxmillian that water runs from the Chesapeake Bay, why would they have to be stocking it.
I was trained by a professional wreck diver that surveyed it about 15 years ago. He told me it's no more than 30ft at the deepest point.
Yes, and they stock it with trout in the summer. Check DNR for the schedule.
Unless you swim up the drain pipe than no
16 with ID but your best bet and it's non-title what they could argue that its title I wouldn't even bother going there that place is ruined with overgrown grass it's all dead and gets on your lower every time you retrieve it you only got about 10 foot of the strike zone before you start ripping it through grass and clean it again at the mess check out the lakes in Columbia or Loch Raven That's what I would do I'm done with the Quarry and it's sad
Yes, with a valid license. The police do petro the area occasionally and it's not that big of a pier.
You need a fresh water license ...I have seen them checking the fishermen on several occasions for their licenses
Yes... it's better to have it closer to the playground and the Pavilion than the water because the mosquitoes can become a bit too much
Boats/kyaks and canoes cannot be used. Fishing is permitted with valid fishing license. DNR officers are in site daily and these arr strictly enforced.
