This place is unprofessional and the center director Angela is one sided and Very rude, when you bring any concerns about the workers or a situation that may occur. When I was speaking she kept interrupting me & She didn’t care what my concerns about my health being put at risk from the Techs(worker) negligence. THEY NEED TO TRAINING AT THIS CENTER BAD! THEY NEED SOMEONE FROM COOPERATE TO COME IN AND INVESTIGATE!!! They also need to do a better job at cleaning and sanitation . There were bloody bandages on the floor. Most of the staff is unprofessional especially Ashley. Ashley always have a attitude when working and takes it out on the donors. She is very rude and don’t know how to treat people accordingly. When come to donate I’m always respectful and patient when I come here and for me to have a issue is out of character for me. I try to do a good thing and donate plasma but this location ghetto and the employees talk negative about the donors to each other .DONT GO TO THIS CENTER!!!

Terrell we just rolled out a new computer system. Each phlebotomist can only have 6 donors attached to a machine at a time.
If you test negative then I would think you'd be ok. I would go into the center and bring that up when you see the nurse for the first time .
You only need your id
The only thing you can do online is to sign up for the OPI rewards. That will allow you to keep track of the days you donated and points which will get you rewards. For example you get 1 point per visit and u can win an express pass which allows you to jump the line. You can also win gift cards so check it often. The other thing u can do is check your card balance and transaction history by logging into wirecard online website. You cannot signin as you do at the center in advance online.
I think the place is great. Its so clean and the people are really nice. Yes the wait is long sometimes but thats expected in a place thats giving away money. Also if someone has an issue with the wait time. Remember the employees are just doing their job and its a at will procedure. YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IT. YOU CHOOSE TO DO IT
No bus runs to Merritt Boulevard, the closest would be the 62 stops at Wise and Merritt.
Drivers license. Be prepared for about a 2 hour background check. Blood check for aids. If you take 3 med for the same thing they can't take you.

I didn't receive any extra money, my beginning donor I only received 50 for 5 first visit. It's still November so I'll see if any extra will on my 2nd visit of the Month. I had a job in another state and I wasn't able to donate here in Maryland but when I visited the other day my account was blocked and it was only 3 months from my last visit.

As long as you're between 18 and like 70, have valid ID and proof of address and no ify romantic partners you can donate. They will test your blood/plasma for infections after donation but if you test positive you will be confidentially informed and put on a national deferral list where you can't donate anywhere.
