Terrible experience in this dump. My AC was broken this entire summer, not blowing out ANY cold air, so the unit would run 24/7. If i turned it off it would get up to 85 degrees inside the apartment. my kids rooms were unlivable and they had to sleep on the couch. It took them 3 months to actually fix it, and it wasn't until I called the city of Gaithersburg that they actually TRIED to fix it. Now I'm stuck with a $600 utility bill ($500 of which is the electric due to my A/C unit continuously running), and the property manager keeps gaslighting me saying it's because 'Pepco raised their rates,' but he refuses to show me what their rates are cause they use a third party billing company. It's extremely shady and probably illegal. So I now have to pay 7 times more for utilities on top of the already insane rent to have been in a miserable 90 degree apartment all summer cause they didn't care enough to fix it.

I want to answer to all those comlaints I had opportunity to read in different platforms about Seneca Village. Yes, there is infestation in some units, because some people who was renting apartments before you or your closest neighbors are ignorant to cleanness! But if you keep it clean yourself and let pest control (thank you very much, Brandon!) to do theyr job, you will be ok! I heard alot about " not returning security deposit" Good people, same advice: KEEP YOU APARTMENT CLEAN! Do not brake doors or scratch walls, do not stain carpets and cabinets! I just moved from one apartment to another and had my deposit back! For all 2 years my family lives here we had best experience. Akram is nicest associate! Nara was very helpful in our transferring. And at last I want to mention great work of maintenance team. Even remembering some delays in requests (we have been once waiting for replasement of broken dishwasher for 4 weeks and to hookup washer-dryer took good 10 days in new apartment) it still THE BEST MAINTENANCE TEAM I EVER DEAL WITH! From very first day Erick was most helpful in any situation. It's wonderful to have such a people working in property. And now my most WARM thanks to Noa who helped us today! Our heating sistem was not working in new apartment and he reacted so fast! He came in morning and made it! Great job made perfect. And he is very nice man who will greet you with his smile every time you meet him! Thank you! Updates: I'm still live here and I really love this place. Great team in leasing office, and my special compliment to Saleh who is very helpful since our first days here. He is just a sunshine. Maintenance team - thank you for fast service and readiness to help. Be nice to people and people will be nice to you.

I've been living here for over 2 years and I'm thinking about moving out due to the constant noise and stumping from my neighbors upstairs. I am a full-time worker and a student. The noise I have experienced has interfered with my studies. I have contacted the office numerous times as well as security. I even asked my neighbors who also hear the noise to write to management but since the noise continued I don't think they have. I trier speaking with them and taking matters into my own hands since I didn't get the support from the rental office but then I got a noise complaint and was told everyone gets one even for closing doors. I live alone and I'm very quiet, I try to be respectful to my neighbors and those around me. The office has not been helpful with informing my upstairs neighbors of the noise complaints as they continue since the 1st day I moved in here. I really enjoy my apartment but I don't think that I can continue to live with all the running, stomping, music and whatever else goes on upstairs. I see that there's a lot of people on here that have complained about this place and I don't normally go based off others experiences but since I have experienced the noise and the rudeness of my upstairs neighbor and how the rental office only makes a call or sends a letter they actually don't do anything to make their renters lives comfortable. A persons home is supposed to be their place of peace. This isn't my first apartment and I know that there is going to be noise but this experience has been stressful.
