Lots of spots for campers. Also have wifi, showers and are close to Stone Mountain Park. You can walk to the trails or drive to the park entrance. Spots are roomy and dog friendly. ***please clean up after your dog.

I absolutely loved this campground. So beautiful and relaxing. The owner was fabulous! Super nice and accommodating, he welcomed me and my dogs with open arms. We loved this site so much we extended our stay…twice! The campsite is super close to Stone Mountain…a short trek from the campground and you’re on the Stone Mountain trails. I would definitely recommend this campground and would love to stay here again.

We just got home from a week at Sandy Creek Family Campground. Could not be any happier with the accommodations. Our camper wasn't making a ton of hot water so we used the camp showers way more than usual. Super clean, and had a nice heater inside. The host was around when you needed, very helpful, and had great stories about his family and how they relate to the history of Stone Mountain. We even hiked right from our campsite into Stone Mountain State Park. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer so we can enjoy the creek that runs right through the property.

Great little campground, off the beaten path but not to be missed, especially if Stone Mountain is on your to do list! Owner really took the extra time to make sure we were good and enjoying our stay. No problem getting 39’ toy hauler in with plenty of room to enjoy campsite. While it doesn’t come with all the bells and whistles of a resort, for the price it’s a bargain. Kids had activities such as corn hole boards, ladderball toss, hula hoops and more. There’s a creek that borders the campground that’s perfect for the kids. Best of all, you literally walk right into the state park and are within minutes to waterfalls and short distance to the main Stone Mountain loop, lots of small creek crossings , the kids loved. We saw many people with dogs as well! At the end of the day it’s a very quiet and peaceful place to relax. Bathhouse may be a bit outdated but we didn’t have to use.

No we don't allow alcohol. We wont to always be a family campground for the kids. We have big dump truck rims with a grate for fire pits and cooking.
