This place is wonderful. Sites are right up against the water so it feels very private and serene. I arrived late after a long day of driving and they let me know everything I needed to know; wi-fi, coffee, and even which stall has the better shower head. Skip the KOA, this place is way nicer.

I came from Texas to North Carolina to go camping because I heard this is the place to go. It was better than I heard! Beautiful area and amazing trails to walk. The owner Randy May was a great guide and told us all about the area. I highly recommend this place for all!

Absolutely amazing! Perfect place to camp with kiddos, the creek is shallow for them to play. Nice and clean. It’s a up and coming campground. Great spot in the foothills. I’m so excited to see this camp ground grow!!

My 5-year old daughter and I car camped for one night at Serenity Haven. We had spent the day at Mount Rogers, visiting the wild ponies. I didn't realize most campgrounds in the area close from November- March. Luckily, Serenity Haven is open year-round. Randolph and his partner couldn't have been nicer. I felt very comfortable camping here as a woman alone. The peaceful creek made sleeping easy. Our camp site was primitive and cost $30 for the night.
