Stumbled upon this beauty of a park! Nice walking trail, pavilion + picnic areas, horseshoe pit, playground and benches overlooking the water. Some wildlife came out to visit as well!

I saw quite a bit of wildlife here. Walking the trails was very peaceful. It seemed to be a dog friendly place on leash. I wish I had visited here when I lived in Wausau as there were several fishermen there. I would have loved to fished there.

A very nice park with trails, fishing areas, shelters, a playground, restrooms (one with plumbing/electric, one without), and lots of wildlife. Plenty of parking, and easy to get around.
