First of all going to the hospital is never a good experience, but with that in mind I would like to thank the wonderful staff for their care of my wife while she is here. We've been here 3 days with 1 or 2 to go. I can't say how special the staff have been. They are friendly, knowledgeable, kind and loving. They have made this visit with all of the worries less stressful. What could use improvement that will all can agree on is ordering food. On the first day after she was admitted called for an hour and the number (1-3663) wouldn't connect. finally she mentioned it to a nurse who said to call 543-3663 to get through. Success and food was delivered. The menu mentioned a app we could use so I downloaded it, created an account and it didn't work. While on the phone ordering lunch I mentioned the issues and was told the app had issues and to use the web address on the menu. I was able to login but each time I use it I have to refresh the menu tab several time and sometime login again. This isn't a big deal, I could just call the working number and place an order. I have found that the web address works better if I'm logged into banners WIFI and I'm going to try and see if the app will work that way also. Not everyone will agree to my last comment, but requiring mask wearing in the hospital is like putting lipstick on a pig. It has the optics but really doesn't do anything but annoy a lot of people. If you want to wear a mask, then wear one, if not, don't.

4 hrs waiting in emergency no medical attention if you are in a emergency don't bother coming here

The wait was not too bad. Once I saw a doctor, the labs, test, and diagnosis were quick.

Only New Fathers. No siblings.
I'll be 36 weeks on Monday and this is my 3rd child. Idk if I should go to the hospital to get checked out or not because I'm having horrible round ligament pain, lower back pain, and here and there lightning croch will hit. Think I should go get checked out, or should I stay home?
Hi Susan, Thank you for your question. Please see the following link for our current Visitor Restrictions. https://www.bannerhealth.com/patients/patient-resources/visitor-restrictions
Just one, but you can choose between several seminars about nutrition or a support group
One while giving birth I believe and 2 visitors
Sorry no clue
Unfortunately due to the recent upsurge in Covid-19, the entire Banner network is now in an elevated alert condition. This means that access to the hospital by non patients is significantly restricted. This is nothing that anybody wants, however it is done to maximize safety of the patients in the hospital, some of which are immunocompromised, and at high risk. With the Delta strain, unfortunately, even those fully vaccinated have been shown can be carriers who can transmit the disease to others. So although it's a tremendous inconvenience, it's done for the safety of the patient population in the hospital.
No, you'd need to make an appointment with an Ortho at his or her office.
I work there. I think that the father is the only person who can stay with the mother. This was a month ago or so. Not sure if they have the same policy now. You're best bet is to call and find out.
As there are many companies in the banner gateway buildings it is best to ask in person or call the specific company you have a question for.
It really depends on how busy they're and how many other people are before you. Most of the time though it's a shorter time wait than other hospitals I've been to.
You can call the hospital and they will connect you to the Gift Shop if you are not in the hospital. If you are there they have a directory with all the department's to call in the hospital 😊
Not that im aware of id take him in though
Im not sure what company they go threw but as far as being charged for it no. Any hospital i have ever been admitted to i have never been charged for the tv. Only medical supplie use, med use, and cafitera. Currently waiting on the bill so i will double check. If its listed i will put up another comment.
You can get an EKG done at most Urgent Care centers, where it is cheaper. Going to the ER tends to be more expensive and it will take longer to be seen.
MD Anderson is open until 530 pm and Gateway is a 24 hour facility, with the Family Pharmacy closing at 830 pm.
Love that hospital , they are helpful , patient, caring the drs explain everything to you and the nurses are so attentive to your needs, The wait isn't very long at all compared to the other hospitals
Yes, but I think that I would go to another hospital seeing how they have a 2.7 out of a 10 point satisfaction rate!
Nope. Go online to Mercy Gilbert hospital and make a reservation online. We were seen the moment we walked in with an online reservation. At Banner we walked out after waiting 5+ hours.
There is a gift shop but I'm unsure if you can order flowers.
I agree worst ever they really don't care i was there and the hospitalist had forgotten we choose to got there for treatment and we pay the bills they have no respect like there stuff dont stink
I believe they do have volunteers for this
