Tuba City is not the prettiest city in the US and it only has 2 hotels so we were forced to stay at the Moenkopi Legacy Inn & Suites, the only one available that night. The hotel is nice but far too expensive for the services it offers. 190USD per night to "enjoy" for breakfast a terrible coffee and only one packaged banana muffin for 2 people. In the photo you can see the empty displayer after we took the last muffin. The savory breakfast was certainly no better: spongy scrambled eggs made with powdered egg and 2 sausages similar to the Dutch frikandel (if you have ever been in the Netherlands you know what I'm talking about). This happened because at 8:00AM all the breakfast food was already gone (and the hotel was definitely busy). What a big disappointment to see that it is run by the Hopi Native American people.

This place is still young. Comfy clean rooms. Staff are very nice and accommodating. Just remember local Natives don't want COVID or any other contagious germs. So please wear your masks and respect their rules. Overall it was worth our money and we had no complaints 😎😴

COVID rules apply and are enforced. Mask up or else. No on site breakfast, COVID rules. There is a friendly Denny's right next door. The staff was not friendly. The rooms are great. Door lock issues prevented using doors other than the main entrance. For the price paid the experience wasn't great.
