I am 75 years old and have excellent teeth thanks to the excellent care I get from Croasdaile Dental Arts. My original dentist has retired and now Dr. Turner takes excellent care of my dental needs. I drive from Pittsboro so they have to be excellent. The support staff from registration to check out are outstanding. I can't think of too many places you can go to for over 40 years with not one complaint but this is one place.

On average, getting a dental implant takes three to nine months. This includes removing the existing tooth (if needed), surgically placing the implant, allowing the bone to heal and fuse with the implant, and creating and placing the implant restoration (crown, bridge, or denture). To find out how long your treatment might take, contact us for a consultation: https://www.croasdailedentalarts.com/contact/.

Do I need a root canal?

Croasdaile Dental Arts | Mar 9, 2022

A root canal is necessary when the inside of your tooth becomes infected or damaged. If left untreated, the infection will spread, increasing your risk for additional dental problems, painful symptoms, and overall health issues. Signs you need a root canal include severe tooth pain or sensitivity, discoloration, swelling or tenderness of the nearby gums, and bumps on your gums. You may also experience no symptoms at all. To see if you need a root canal, contact us for an appointment: https://www.croasdailedentalarts.com/durham-nc-dental-services/comprehensive-dentistry/root-canal/.

When should I consider dental implants?

Croasdaile Dental Arts | Mar 9, 2022

A dental implant is an excellent choice for replacing a missing, broken, or severely decayed tooth. It's the only restoration that'll replace an entire tooth from root to crown. This helps to make the implant look, feel, and function like a real tooth. No one will notice! Contact us to book a dental implants consultation.

What is the best way to whiten my teeth?

Croasdaile Dental Arts | Mar 9, 2022
Croasdaile Dental Arts | Mar 9, 2022

The short answer: Professional tooth whitening by a dentist. Why? It'll work better than store-bought or DIY methods. Professional teeth whitening removes intrinsic (internal) and extrinsic (surface) stains, which means whiter, even, and longer-lasting results. It's also customized to you, including your sensitivity and desired shade of white.
