Utterly shocked by the poor service. I mistakenly used the free “priority mail” tape to close my package. This meant my small package to Japan (t-shirt inside) went from 27 dollars to 52 dollars. When I asked if I could borrow regular tape (three packs of regular clear tape were on the wall behind the counter) I was told they “couldn’t do that.” Just sad. No wonder the USPS is financially in ruin.

I shipped two boxes from this location on 8/10/20. The worker specifically asked me if anything was fragile. I told her yes, there are globes in the bigger box. Inside the box was bubble wrapped mind you. I recieved the boxes in Minnesota today 8/13/20. My fragile box came completely smashed!!!! The side of the box is broken open and all four corners smashed in. My globes are shattered. Somehow the FRAGILE box is smashed and broken but the other box i shipped is completely fine! I understand that this location didnt do all the shipping but are you kidding me?!?! Did you label the wrong box?! Upon further investigation and the response from the owner: Your employee failed to mark the box as Fragile. You can look at the cameras and even see, my fiance and I telling her that the box needs to be marked Fragile because she asked. She failed to do so which is YOUR LOCATION. I will be taking this up with USPS. No wonder its going bankrupt. Do better.

This review is not in regards to the post office. The post office contracted unit is great, always helpful and efficient and pleasant. This review is in regards to Barbara who works at the desk in the Children’s world area. She was the rudest most condescending person when I walked in this afternoon. She was not welcoming or kind in any manner whatsoever. You cannot treat people poorly and disrespect them just because you’re having a bad day and don’t want to be there. I’m from New York and if she would of spoke to someone that way up north she would of got her teeth knocked out. This woman is very lucky I have patience and don’t take other people’s nasty attitudes to heart. If she’s hates her life and job, that’s on her. God bless you Barbara, I hope you have a better day and treat the next person with a little more respect.
