While a cure for tinnitus is not possible in most cases, our audiologists work with patients to create individualized management plans, which can greatly reduce the negative impact of the tinnitus on their quality of life. The UNC HCC provides comprehensive tinnitus evaluations to provide better information about the cause and type of a patient's tinnitus, which then guides the best way to treat it.
