I had a positive beginning to end experience with Dr. Hancock's office and team. He is very thorough in explaining treatment options, thoughtful and patient (for the person that needs all the details). My husband has also had work done here and had immediate relief after a root canal treatment and for someone that doesn't like the dental chair, he was very pleased.

This was my first root canal and understandably, I was pretty nervous about the procedure. However, Dr. Hancock and his staff were excellent. They made me super comfortable, they are very knowledgeable, thorough, and the procedure itself was relatively painless. I even fell asleep for a portion of it. I can't wait for my next root canal!

Very easy and comfortable root canal procedure with Dr Hancock. Almost went to sleep a couple times during the procedure.

No one wants to get a root canal of course, but the staff and doctor made it as comfortable as possible. Everyone is friendly and the doctor is gentle.

Dr. Hancock will make sure to provide you with full instructions for after-care following any procedure. In general, however, it's important to wait until any numbing medication wears off before eating, avoid using the treated tooth until restoration is complete, and continue to brush and floss daily.
Before your appointment, make sure that you have current insurance information. It's also recommended to take two ibuprofen or naproxen sodium pills before treatment to reduce inflammation. If you have any antibiotic premedication, make sure you've taken that as well. You're free to eat regular meals as long as you won't be undergoing IV sedation. Finally, if you have any x-rays or referral information from your dentist, bring them with you.
As a Raleigh endodontics specialist, Dr. Hancock has additional years of training to help you achieve the best outcome for complex cases. If you need endodontic treatment, your dentist may refer you to Dr. Hancock in your best interest.
My experience with HH Hancock was excellent. I experienced no pain during the procedure after gums were numbed. And very little discomfort after the procedure.
