Rooms were clean. Breakfast was nicely prepared. Comfortable accommodations. The downside was the bar: they do the 90 minute hosted beer and wine, then close. Could not buy a drink at 730 in the evening.

Kirk Villa

Nice place and the cleaning staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean but could use some repairs and updating. What I don't get is the daily parking fee on top of an expensive room in an unsecured parking lot. I watched two drug deals go on in the lot where I paid for my truck to be parked.

The hotel is very outdated and the rooms are a little small. I'd prefer more outdoor space as well. The location is good and the beds that we had were comfortable. There is a heated pool and hot tub, so I'm sure that appeals to a lot of people. The owner should really update though. The peeling carpet etc was gross.

We stayed here because it was on the way to the Grand Canyon from Phoenix, and we wanted a halfway spot to rest and hike. We loved the hot, complimentary breakfast- waffles, sausage, eggs, omelet es to order, everything! We had a suite with a pull out bed for our kids which was nice. It’s not a 5 star to me, because it needs some cosmetic updates and the air conditioning was a bit wacky.
