Moved to this property from out of town and first summer post-COVID. Prior to moving everyone was very nice about helping me find what I was looking for. Move in was easy and any immediate maintenance request were and to this day followed up very quickly. Gayden and Ms. Pamela in the office and Rick in maintenance have made this apartment complex one of best ones I have stayed in. The community is quiet and neighbors are very nice. If I hadn't recently transferred jobs I would have renewed. Thank you BTP for being very understanding and providing overall great customer service.

I think Bent Tree is a very nice looking apartment complex. I applied here, but unfortunately, the application process is pretty broken. The main gripe I have is that my leasing agent has still, even after a week and a half, never actually responded to a single email I've sent. I admit I perhaps called a few too many times checking in on things, but I would not have called in every day if I could just get a response and an update on where things were. I did not actually get all of the documents required to apply on the first email I was sent. I also wasn't given full instructions on how to make the app fee payment. I sent in my documents, and I called to see if I was missing anything. I was told they didn't receive the email (though later it turns out they did, but they never responded back and said so). I called in again later to get information on how to make the app payment. I made the payment and sent them an email with the payment confirmation as directed. I still did not get an email letting me know the information was received, so again, I had to call them. I was told that they would work on my application. I then called back the next day to see what the next steps were, and they told me they had earlier moveins and would process it later. I could not get a firm time on when I could expect my application to be processed. I later called and asked for a manager and was told that they would work on getting me a response so I would feel more at ease. I still did not receive an email. This process has been broken and I'm out $350 for the application because it went into a black hole. I understand that they have other applicants that they have to work with, but I have to get movers ready, get packed, etc, so I have to know if I'm approved or not. If they had just emailed me once or twice to let me know where we stood I certainly would not have called as much, which would have ultimately saved time for both them as well as me. I would not recommend this place unless you are desperate or you have a very long time for your application to be processed.

I had to fix my own water heater. They never came. Ditto for the new toilet I was promised every day for two weeks. Fixed that myself too.
