Awesome park and is normally not busy at all, be sure to to bring gear helmet knee pads elbow pads as they are required to enter.

One of the nicer parks on Villa and Barstow. Looks like a skating park with a nice size rink from the street but once you pull in the parking lot its a big Redwood park. There's three different BBQ pits and enough tables for good size parties. Dog's are welcome and can even run your dogs along the canal in the back. Plenty of slides and things for the kids to climb on and its not crowded. Six men's and ladies bathrooms. Just look for the huge water tower and you've found it. Cheers! Sorry to say they have closed all bathrooms indefinitely. I believe because the homeless keep trashing them.

I’m going to put this up first: You need a helmet and pads PERIOD. Kinda sucks that they won’t let you in if you don’t have those things, but from my personal experience it’s pretty fun. They have pretty low ledges for beginners and multiple hips, with drop-ins that come in varied heights. Bikes aren’t allowed, but scooters and skate boards are.

It's open from 10 am to 9PM
The Skatepark typically closes at 9pm
I've heard 10am to 9pm but seen people there earlier. Most city parks are open 7am to 10pm so Rotary may have similar hours.
Yes you have to have a helmet and pads they are required in order to get in.
This place is free to enter.
