My husband and I used Emily Kate's for our wedding cake. I am celiac and thinking about wedding dessert made me nervous for our wedding. I am beyond pleased to not only report that I did not get glutened (I had full faith in Emily Kate's :) but our wedding cake was AMAZING! For anyone with a gluten allergy or celiac disease, Emily Kate's is a wonderful place to get baked goods and feel normal again! P.S. It has been years since I've eaten wedding cake and it felt good to be like everyone else for a day.

For our wedding reception, my husband and I wanted cupcakes. My husband is gluten free, so we tried a few bakeries around KC. When we got the tasting box from Emily Kate’s, we immediately knew what we wanted! Everybody was shocked that the cupcakes were gluten free, and they went FAST at the reception. What’s also fun is your can create your own combos, so I definitely recommend the red velvet cupcake with the raspberry frosting. AMAZING.

Just finished a slice of the vegan chocolate cake. Let me tell you... Incredible experience. Best cake I've had in such a long time. And it was vegan! Not sure how the buttercream (obviously no butter) was better than normal buttercream and how a chocolate cake is so fluffy with no gluten?! Seriously incredible. Please order something from Emily Kate for your next event, even if it is a non-event event.
