Generally clean. The show did not work well and therr was no tissue and minimal toilet paper. Front desk staff very pleasant and accommodating. Hot breakfast in morning was good.

Check in clerk was very nice! Check out clerk acted like I was a liar and owed more money. (I paid the night before for my dogs and online for room.) Breakfast was a JOKE! I have stayed there numerous times when my daughter was at WVU but wont ever stay again. And the couch bed had not had bedding changed....the people before us clothes were still in the bed. ......What happened to such a nice place? Lesson learned read the reviews.

The poor rating is due to the rude staff that we encountered during our short stay. The general manager Jordan was very rude when I called two days after my stay to ask why they charged an additional $265 on top of the $80 stay for the room. He told me that that my room smelled of smoke. He said there was a smell of smoke which was the only evidence he said him and his staff had. I’ve never been so offended. Especially after cleaning the room for the housekeeping crew before I even got to check out. They only thing they had to do was change the sheets after I did their job for them pretty much. So for them to give me a hard time and charge my card almost $300 for not doing anything is outrageous. The general manager over the phone lacked customer service skills and at the location. I do not recommend staying here unless you want to be profiled and overcharged for things you didn’t do. Breakfast was terrible too, not at all like advertised. Go to the Holiday Inn Express, you’re much better off in that direction.

Absolutely wonderful. This hotel is a bit older, but it has a charm to it. With it's attentive guest staff and cleanly rooms it's a great find for anyone traveling for business or with family. The suites have a nice kitchen divider to separate the living space from the bed, and a lot of storage space. The lobby has plenty of space, and they offer not only a free continental breakfast but soup and cookies in the evening! You all will definitely be seeing this smiling face back in this hotel again next time I'm in town. Thank you all for everything!
